Several months ago, I attended a book tour event at the Indigo Lounge in support of Chris Clearfield and András Tilcsik’s book Meltdown: Why Our Systems Fail & What We Can Do About It.
I finally got the chance to read it, and it was a real page-turner. Chris and András are great storytellers, and I’m a sucker for stories about system failures.
Sketchnoting books help me remember what I read and really learn it. People often ask me how to do it. The answer is simple: just start. This isn’t about art; it’s about visual notetaking and visual thinking. And they’re much more appealing to look back on than just lines of handwriting marching across your notebook like ants.
